Missing Tooth

Michaela is halfway to “All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth” territory.

Her top tooth fell out at today’s Poinsettia Bowl football game. It had been wiggly for a while, but not terribly so. Then all of a sudden today, it was hanging by an apparently very painful thread. Michaela was crying and said she wanted to out. Mike told her to keep wiggling it. I decided to take things into my own hands – literally – and took her to the bathroom, washed my hands, wrapped a paper towel around it, and yanked! Out came the tooth and voila– my six-year-old looks even older now.
